What you will be doing

Sales, Commercial, and Team Management

  • Proactively develop and manage key customer relationships at all levels, from site engineers to senior management, within the underground mining sector.
  • Establish and manage a network of distributors, joint venture partners, and other sales channels to expand market reach and drive equipment sales.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve and exceed revenue, sales volume, and profitability targets for underground mining equipment.
  • Create and implement strategic sales plans to retain existing customers, penetrate new markets, and win business from competitors.
  • Position Bazoka as a market leader in underground mining solutions by effectively communicating the value proposition of our equipment and services.
  • Lead contract negotiations, ensuring favorable terms and effective contract management throughout the sales lifecycle.
  • Implement regional pricing strategies, conduct market analysis, and provide feedback on competitive positioning and market dynamics.
  • Drive the introduction and market adoption of new equipment and technologies through customer trials, demonstrations, and targeted marketing efforts.
  • Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing sales team focused on the underground mining sector. Provide ongoing coaching, performance management, and mentorship to foster a culture of success and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure seamless coordination between the sales team, technical support, and logistics to guarantee timely equipment delivery and outstanding after-sales service.

What you will bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Business, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 8-10 years of sales experience, with a proven track record in selling heavy equipment, preferably for the underground mining industry.
  • Extensive experience in developing and maintaining high-level relationships with key stakeholders in mining companies.
  • Strong understanding of underground mining operations, equipment, and purchasing cycles.
  • Post-graduate qualifications in management are desirable.
